This role based in our NZ Regional Office in Ponsonby, Auckland reports to the Manager, Customer Service and ensures: Our Wholesale partners (retailers) in our NZ markets get the best possible pre and post sales service from icebreaker, reaffirming their partnership with us as key stockists of our brand Our direct eCom and Retail customers get the best possible pre and post sales service from icebreaker, reaffirming their love for getting outside and amongst it in nature. Tricks up your sleeve: Prior experience supporting customers, preferably in company that also has direct sales channels (own ecom and retail stores) in a fast paced environment Good systems, Microsoft Excel & Outlook skills Stuff you know how to do: Consistently meet high customer service standards Provide clear concise verbal and written communication to our customers that makes them feel like it was a pleasure to contact icebreaker Quickly and efficiently fulfil orders Receive returns from customers and process them in accordance to the way we do things, every time Work through how to deal with customer complaints in a way that meets customers' needs and ensures icebreakers brand integrity and processes are followed Keep on top of stock - follow process for orders, returns and adjustments so we all know where all the stock is at any time! About the role: We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Business Development Executive to join our team in New Zealand. This role is primarily responsible for managing our extensive brand portfolio including Sistema, Sunbeam, and Sharpie. Based in Auckland and working out of our modern Sistema Factory and Office site, this role looks after our customer base nationwide. Approximately 70% of your time will be spent locally in the upper North Island, with the remainder comprised of a travel cycle to Wellington, Christchurch, and regional locations to lead sales, training, end user activity and events as needed. This position works closely with internal & external stakeholders to develop strategies that will enable mutual returns for our valued customers and the business. You will have a proven history of exceeding sales targets through your solution sales approach, have a sound strategic business development skills set, be self-motivated and possess the ability to build solid relationships with new and existing customers. You will be the face of our brands and conduct in-store training for resellers and end customers. Any experience in the home appliance or adjacent industry would be a bonus. Bachelor's degree or further studies in Business, Management, Commerce, Marketing or a related field Minimum 3 years in sales roles across similar channels or customers Strong time management and negotiation skills Strong presentation, leadership, and communication skills A proven ability to build rapport, problem solve, and sell Self-motivated and an ability to work autonomously as well as part of team This is a great challenge for a highly motivated sales professional!
